Storm First Responders SMS Texting Terms of Service

We text our customers to communicate important information regarding our services and medications. If at any point you do not want text messages you can simply reply STOP.

By opting in to Storm First Responders’ SMS Texting program, you agree to the following terms of service:

Consent: You consent to receive text messages from Storm First Responders, including but not limited to offers, marketing or protected health information (PHI) such as appointment reminders, prescription refills, and order details.

Opt-In: By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Storm First Responders. You can opt-out of the program at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Message and data rates: You acknowledge that standard message and data rates may apply to messages sent and received. Please consult your mobile carrier for details.

Frequency: You understand that Storm First Responders may send messages once per week or as needed for information on your treatment plan.

Opt-Out: To opt-out of the program, reply STOP to any message. You will not receive any further messages from Storm First Responders after opting out.

Privacy: Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your mobile number or any other personal information with third parties without your consent.

Termination: We reserve the right to terminate the program at any time or to change these terms of service without prior notice.

Acceptance: By providing your mobile number and opting in to Storm First Responders’ SMS Texting program, you acknowledge and accept these terms of service.

Security: You understand that SMS text messaging is not considered to be a secure form of communication for PHI, and that Storm First Responders will take appropriate measures to ensure that the PHI communicated via SMS text messaging is kept confidential and secure to the extent possible.

HIPAA Compliance: You acknowledge that Storm First Responders is committed to complying with HIPAA regulations and will take reasonable steps to ensure that PHI communicated via SMS text messaging is kept confidential and secure to the extent possible. However, you understand that there are inherent risks associated with the use of SMS text messaging for healthcare communications, and that Storm First Responders cannot guarantee the security of messages transmitted via SMS text messaging.
